Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of all levels are welcome to join in TU activities, learn the tradition of fly-fishing and build a solid foundation of conservation. Scouts often participate in stream cleanups and other conservation-focused activities.
Girls and boys, age 8 and up: Here’s your chance to learn how to catch fish and get together with other kids who share your interest! The Wooly Bugger Club focuses on activities related to fishing including fly-tying, field trips, casting instruction, guest speakers, and of course, fishing.
Trout in the Classroom takes the mission of Trout Unlimited into schools. Students raise trout from eggs, learn about the ecology of fisheries and waterways, and finish the year by releasing the fish they have nurtured into the wild.
