Mike Humphreys DEEP Inland Fisheries Biologist for the western district, our district, will speak at the next general meeting of Nutmeg TU, moved to the fourth Tuesday of March due to a conflict. Of most interest to our chapter, he will  present findings from his 5 year study of the effects on trout survival in the

Clean along the Mill River postponed to Sunday, March 29, due to forecast of foul weather.

Due to foul weather possibilities forecast for Saturday, the Mill River Cleanup is rescheduled to Sunday March 29, 1 to 3 p.m. We will meet in the parking lot at Covenant Church, on the north bank of the river, across from Congress Street.

Fly tyers from Nutmeg TU meet at Chuck MacMath’s house the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost is $2 to cover materials. All are welcome, beginners are encouraged to attend. Vises, tools and materials are available if needed.
